Operating System: Windows95/98/NTsp3
Minimum: 16mb Ram, Recommended: 64mb
Full Installation: 111mb, recommended at least 200mb free space after installation
Fully multimedia-featured system recommended
For a fast internet Browser that fits on a diskette, this is an excellent qualifier. Once you become familiar with the interface, the large number of bookmarks and ability to auto-import from both Netscape and Internet Explorer will impress you. For the first time user, configuring this browser can be intimidating because of the wide range of options, but if you already have one installed, opera will capture those settings. In most cases, the default settings will work. Opera does not carry many helpers or plugins but, it does support java and is a full FTP client. One of the most impressive features of Opera is the ability to view up to four web sites at the same time in one interface. Unfortunately, Opera only has a send mail feature and requires mail support from another program.
